About Me

Hello! I'm Liv Davison, and I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree at Salem State University, double majoring in public relations and criminology with a minor in legal studies.
This summer I interned at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, assisting with social media and communications. In this position, I will be assisting the Senior Communications Manager with the track's PR and media, as well as assisting the Manager of Social and Digital content in capturing and generating content.
During the academic year, I manage Salem State University's athletics department social media accounts, as well as doing some photography for the department. My role in media management includes a variety of things. Posting content before/during/after our games to keep followers up-to-date on our games, as well as creating marketing strategies for each month to try and engage and grow our audiences.
Being born and raised around the sports world, I have a deep knowledge of the industry. Being social media manager, I am able to utilize both my social media skills and my knowledge of sports to create fun content that showcases our athletes and that will engage new audiences.
MY WORK
GONDOLA
Gondola is your one-stop shop for all content I have created thus far for various social media accounts, including Salem State University Athletics. From athlete q+a's to mic'd up videos, it's all here!

SPECIAL DELIVERY 🦞
Pictured and linked above are photos I took of Christopher Bell's crew outside of their NASCAR hauler. My role was to deliver the lobster rolls to the team (as a part of NHMS tradition since they won last year). I then photographed the team with the rolls, edited the photos and sent them off to be posted on socials.

NASCAR CUP SERIES DRIVER Q+A
Linked above is Instagram reel Q+A with NASCAR Cup Series Drivers. My role in this content was to collaborate with the NHMS Manager of Social and Digital content to come up with the questions for the drivers to answer. This was to promote the Speedway's fall NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on September 21, 2025.

AT MEDIA DAY
Linked and pictured above is a post I created for Salem State University Athletics. For Division III week, I decided to do a feature on our athletic trainers. My role was to coordinate the time to do the photoshoot, then take, edit, and upload the photos to our athletics social accounts.

BOSTON LANDING INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Linked above is Instagram post and the Lightroom album of photos taken at the Boston Landing Invitational tournament in January 2025. I traveled with Salem State University's Men's Ice Hockey team as the team's media personnel for the weekend, taking photos and getting BTS content of the tournament and their win.

RYAN PREECE FIRST PITCH AT FENWAY
Pictured and linked above are photos I took of NASCAR driver Ryan Preece at Fenway Park on 6/10/25. My role in this post and piece was to photograph content with Preece (interacting with fans, players, etc. and of him throwing out the ceremonial first pitch) for New Hampshire Motor Speedway social media accounts.

RGOC ARTICLE AND SOCIAL POST
Pictured and linked above are an article and Instagram post from New Hampshire Motor Speedway. My role in this post was to pull photos from NHMS photo library, and edit the photos into an Instagram carousel. The carousel highlights the main points from the article published on the NHMS official website.

NHMS PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
Linked above is Instagram reel promoting the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. My role in this content was to come up with the promotional video idea, then present it to the Speedway's Manager of Social and Digital Content. We then worked together to plan and film the video.

Q+A VIDEO EXAMPLE
Above is an example of a video I have created for Salem State University Athletics. It is a question-and-answer video with our men's lacrosse team. My role in this was to coordinate the time and place to film, ask the athletes the question, and then edit and upload the content to our social accounts.
